According to the reports of CNBC newspaper, "Federal prosecutors have charged retired United Auto Workers Vice President Joseph Ashton, a former board member of General Motors, as part of its corruption probe into the union. Ashton, who resigned from the GM board in December 2017 after reportedly being linked to the investigation, was charged with fraud and money laundering conspiracies. Money laundering is punishable by up to 10 years in prison, while the fraud charge could be up to 20 years."

"Everything is the Service Advisor's fault. No assistance from Management. Technicians are allowed to do whatever they please including picking and choosing what they will work on. They can come in late, leave early take multiple smoke breaks with no repercussion. The shop steward and service manager are both a joke."

"They will make you jump through hoops for a full time position you will never see. The UAW talks about solidarity but there worst then management. They will make you a temp forever so they dont have to give you full benefits or profit sharing. They pay you enough to deal with the mental torture your going to go through. There not one understanding member of management or the UAW. Non of them care about you. There snakes who will lie to you make everything sound great until your lifestyle is made for the pay rate and you cant quit if you wanted to. They just want to use your body until its broke down and they get another person to fill your spot. Majority of the people hate there jobs.Theres a uneasy feeling of someone going postal there.
